After World War II, the founder, Walter E. Kuziel, Sr., worked for many metal finishing companies, gaining invaluable experience. This knowledge enabled him to process everything from 14-foot wave tubes that required a deposit of silver on the entire inside diameter to gold plating of satellite spheres for the U.S. government. In 1967, with the help of his wife, Sophie, and son, Walter, Jr., Imperial Plating was born. Today Walter, Jr. and a third generation, Anthony Kuziel, are introduce a newly designed logo and a new philosophy for Imperial: “Quality Through Technology and Teamwork.”
